Yesterday, we have screened a movie “The Book Thief” in German language with English subtitles for our students & interested people from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm followed by the presentation & discussion with our instructor in the ASH Gallery.

Children’s German Film Festival organised by the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Centre) & the Institute for Art & Culture held on April 13 & April 14, 2019 during IAC Mela 2019 at the Institute for Art & Culture (7km- Raiwind Road, Lahore).

A theatre performance “OH MY SWEET LAND” with Corinne Jaber (Germany) took place on March 13, 2019 at the Institute for Art & Culture.    

Lecture “ZAHIR & BATIN: THE PICTURE PUZZLES OF LAHORE” by German writer, translator and literary critic “STEFAN WEIDNER” took place on Friday, February 8, 2019 @ 4:30 pm at the Institute of Art & Culture, 7.5 km – Raiwind Road, Lahore.

Yesterday, we arranged a film show for our German students & for those who are interested in German culture. “Rico, Oskar und das Herzgebreche – The Pasta Detectives 2” was screened followed by a discussion from 3-5 pm at the Schimmel-Haus. 

 Alliance Française de Lahore & Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus organised a Christmas party for their partners, friends & students on Friday, December 21, 2018 at their premises. German & French delicacies were served. Also different fun activities & games were arranged.

An annual Christmas dinner was arranged by Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus for their staff members and also for all the German ASH & PASCH teachers in Lahore on Friday, December 7, 2018 in the garden of ASH.

A workshop on “Christmas Art & Craft in German as a foreign language teaching” was conducted for all the members of PaKDaF  in Lahore on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus.

The 4th National PASCH German Spelling Bee Competition 2018 held on November 8, 2018 in Islamabad. LGS Paragon, CAS Karachi and Benchmark School Islamabad were in finals. All teams played really well. LGS Paragon is the winner, but it was too close. We are proud of you German bees!!!    

German Football Tournament 2018 was organised by ASH in collaboration with the German Embassy New Delhi & the Model Town Football Academy Club on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Lahore.  All three teams @German Embassy New Delhi @ German Embassy Islamabad @Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus played really well.
