1.1. Course registration at the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (ASH) is conducted online via the web portal available on our website.
1.2. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.3. Participants must be at least 16 years of age to enrol in regular courses.
1.4. Courses for children are organised separately.
1.5. Participants under the age of 18 must submit a written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
1.6. Applicants for beginner-level courses must have completed Matriculation (or equivalent).
2.1. Each course will be conducted only if a minimum of 12 participants is enrolled.

Enrollment aims to maintain gender parity. If sufficient applicants from one gender are not available, remaining seats may be filled without restriction.
3.1 Internal Candidates
Promotion to the next level is based on internal assessments:
Participants must achieve a minimum overall score of 60% to successfully complete the course and qualify for the next level.
3.2 External Candidates
3.2.1. Admission to advanced levels is subject to a placement test conducted by ASH.
3.2.2. A minimum score of 60% is required for level placement.
3.2.3. Candidates may reappear for the placement test after three months.
3.2.4. Placement test fee: PKR 1,000 (non-refundable).
3.2.5. Passing the placement test does not guarantee admission, as enrollment depends on seat availability.
4.1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
4.2. If cancellation is made up to three working days before the course start date, 50% of the course fee will be retained.
4.3. No refunds will be issued after the course has commenced.
4.4. In exceptional cases (e.g. medical reasons), a credit transfer to a future course may be granted. A re-admission fee of 50% of the current course fee will apply.
4.5. If no prior notice is given, no refund or credit will be issued.
4.6. Course fees are non-transferable after the course has started.
4.7. Incorrect payments made without prior approval will be refunded after deduction of PKR 1,000 administrative charges.
4.8. Refund processing may take up to 30 working days.
5.1. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a digital participation certificate (PDF) via email.
5.2. Course completion is based on active class participation and submission of assigned work.
5.3. An enrolment letter may be issued upon written request.
6.1. Book charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.
6.2. The course book will be provided on the first day of class, subject to full payment of the course fee.
6.3. For online courses, the book may be delivered to the participant's postal address upon request.
7.1. ASH reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course if enrolment numbers are insufficient.
8.1. Participants must ensure a stable internet connection.
8.2. Cameras must remain switched on during online sessions.
8.3. Participants who keep their camera and microphone switched off may be removed from the session.
9.1. Participants must comply with all ASH rules and regulations.
9.2. ASH is liable only in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
9.3. ASH is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, fire, floods, war, government orders, or security situations).
10.1. Weapons are strictly prohibited on the premises. ASH is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings.
10.2. A security check is mandatory for all visitors and participants.
10.3. ASH does not provide parking facilities and is not responsible for vehicles.
10.4. Visitors are not permitted to wait inside the premises.
10.5. Students should be dropped off and collected at the gate.
10.6. Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas.
10.7. Photography or video recording is not allowed without administrative permission.
10.8. Students are required to arrive and depart strictly in accordance with their scheduled class timings. Due to limited space, students are not permitted to remain on the premises outside of these times. Students may arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their class and must leave the premises within 15 minutes after the class has concluded.
11.1. ASH does not provide or recommend accommodation and is not affiliated with any hostel or private housing provider.
