This weekend all our teachers participated in two German teachers’ training workshops conducted by teachers’ trainer Frau Saira Niazi on “How to conduct the most effective A1 prep class” followed by lunch and then a second workshop on “How to prepare a perfect lesson plan”, at ASH.
Our gallery rocked today, when we screened two films by renowned film director Dr. Ahmad Bilal followed by a lively discussion with the director and members of the cast of both films. The renowned writer Amjad Islam Amjad, Muhammad Noor Ul Hassan and RM Naeem were among the audience.
Yesterday, we have screened a movie “The Book Thief” in German language with English subtitles for our students & interested people from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm followed by the presentation & discussion with our instructor in the ASH Gallery.
Yesterday, we had organised a blood donation camp for thalassemia patients with the support of the Fatimid Foundation Lahore at our premises.
A Methodik and Didaktik Seminar for teachers, conducted by Ms. Saira Naizi, was held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the Schimmel-Haus. This is a good opportunity to refresh the methodology and to make our classes even more interesting, productive and enjoyable .
Children’s German Film Festival organised by the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Centre) & the Institute for Art & Culture held on April 13 & April 14, 2019 during IAC Mela 2019 at the Institute for Art & Culture (7km- Raiwind Road, Lahore).
