Workshop on Strategic Design for Micro-Business Ideas in Model Town Park
An interdisciplinary workshop organised by the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Centre Lahore) for the students and graduates of all design and related subjects from March 16–24, 2015 at the Schimmel-Haus Lahore conducted by Prof. Dr. Brigitte Wolf and Gwendolyn Kulick.
Following universities will participate in the workshop:
This workshop aims to create awareness that design strategy can be applied to most situations around us. It introduces participants to tools and methodologies to explore and develop business opportunities within a highly frequented public park. After spending time at the location, observing, interacting with visitors and already existing business people, students will analyze the situation and define business opportunities based on the ‘Business Model Generation’ concept. They will develop products, services and communication strategies based on consumer understanding and the delivery of constantly good quality.
PASCH stands for the “Schools: Partners for the Future” initiative. The aim is to create and strengthen a global network of partner school with Germany- specially in Asia, Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe

German classical concert to be held in Lahore on November 4 at Alhamra Hall 2, The Mall Lahore.
The Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus is organising the German classical concert in collaboration with the Goethe-Institute Pakistan and Lahore Arts Council.
Film festival: ‘The story you tell is what matters in making movies’
The story one’s telling is what distinguishes a good film from a bad one, regardless of the equipment used in film making,” said Neha Nawaz to sum up her experience at a mobile phone film making workshop, Micro Moves, at Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus, German Cultural Centre.

The Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Centre) yesterday organised a mobile phone film workshop on ‘Micro Moves: Urban Surviving Strategies in a Mega-City’ with renowned German filmmaker Till Passow from Berlin.
